The Held Sparrow is a leather summer glove that comes almost halfway up your forearm. As long as it's not raining, you're literally and figuratively safe with the Sparrow. And even after that, for a while.
The construction of the glove is based on numerous leather panels. The most vulnerable parts of the hand were given a double layer or an extra relief in leather. The top of your fingers, the inside of your thumb, the palm and the side of your hand are all covered. For impact protection, padding was chosen on the knuckles, wrist and all fingers except the little finger.
The gloves have a soft 100% cotton lining which feels very comfortable, even after several hours on the bike. You will also never complain about the grip and level of control you maintain with these gloves. Stretch inserts, in the form of accordion strips, on the first three fingers further accentuate this.
At the wrist, there is a thin velcro closure, followed by a second wider closure on the cuff. The Held Sparrow is nicely finished with white stitching and enriched with embroidery on the back of the hand, the index finger and the wrist.
The Sparrow has a visor wiper on the left index finger. Although they are not waterproof, you'll notice that some splashing or heavy drops are not a problem. As long as you don't go to the extremes or ride for hours in a thunderstorm, your worries will be limited.
Both gloves are equipped with a strap with a snap button so that the glove pair can be kept together easily when you are not using them.
