German boot manufacturer Daytona guarantees top of the bill motorcycle boots. Handmade, detailed, high-tech and 100% waterproof thanks to the integrated GORE-TEX® membrane.
The Journey XCR is a summer shoe that transcends the concept of the traditional summer shoe. Most summer products make at least one choice: waterproofing or ventilation. The Journey doesn't. Point. The GORE-TEX® XCR used breathes better and remains waterproof. So despite the large areas of perforated leather, you'll always keep your feet dry. Really dry. Not sweaty and not wet dry. The exterior consists mainly of a water repellent greased cowhide leather.
The Journey XCR is a relatively high summer shoe, the somewhat sturdier kind. You don't feel that when you wear it or walk around with it. Whether you're sitting at your desk for the day or going for a brisk walk, comfort remains excellent in all conditions. Getting in and out of this Daytona is quick and easy. 'Velcro' is the key word here. It covers the entire shaft length and the two extra strips to tighten the shoe.
The Journey has the typical construction of many Daytona boots, which means that the sturdy outer shell protects a kind of air-conditioned, soft, padded inner boot. Inside comfortable, outside reinforced with ankle protection, toe and heel protection. The top of the shaft is softly finished for extra comfort.
The link reinforcement is obviously an obvious feature in a boot of this calibre. Just like the sturdy anti-slip sole.
Daytona remains true to a number of fixed values: comfort on and off the bike, a long lifespan, pronounced strength and durability in extreme circumstances and the use of top materials. Moreover, you can always count on excellent after-sales service from the German manufacturer.
