Bolts are often tightened too hard or not hard enough. It is a delicate distinction to determine by touch, and in some cases it is not recommended at all. Think of a loosening rear wheel, for instance.

Most workshop manuals mention how hard a bolt should be tightened. That value - expressed in Nm - can easily be set via a scale and associated mechanism on the handle of this torque wrench. It allows for any setting between 28 and 201 Nm. The reversible wrench has a 3/8" adapter and extension and gives an acoustic-mechanical warning when the set value is reached. The wrench has a total length of 47 cm.
