BGS TECHNIC Brake fluid tester

Brake fluid is highly hygroscopic, meaning it tends to absorb moisture. When that happens, its boiling point - and therefore its effectiveness - is reduced. Brake fluid attracting and absorbing moisture not only causes a lower boiling point, but also leads to rust in the brake cylinders.

With this appliance you can quickly and easily check the condition of your brake fluid. The tester simply determines the water content in the fluid and shows the results with three LED lights.

• Green: 1.5% water
• Yellow: 1.5 - 3% water
• Red: 3% water

The brake fluid tester switches itself off automatically after use and works on a battery (included).

Suitable for testing DOT3, DOT4 and DOT5.1 brake fluid.

Attention: NOT suitable for silicone based DOT5 brake fluid.
