You know the ones: that recalcitrant nut that just won't come off. Whether due to rust or damage, that nut will hold up your entire project.

In such a case, a nut splitter is the tool you need. This two-piece set consists of two sizes, so you can handle most common nuts. One nut splitter should be used on 12 -16 mm nuts, while the other can handle 16-24 mm sized nuts.

You slide the nut splitter flush over the nut and turn it with a spanner until the nut cracks.
