This cotton polishing wheel can be used for many applications. Copper, steel, aluminium and chrome are easy to polish with this 22 mm wide disc. The disc has a diameter of 120 mm. The 6 mm shaft is meant to be fixed in a drill bit head. Use a material-specific buffing compound to prevent heavy abrasion.
Tip: if you apply wax or buffing compound too generously to a stationary disc and then press the start button on the drill, the polish or wax will almost certainly end up on the walls and ceiling. So, don't apply too much polish and exercise a little restraint.
Using a mechanically driven polishing wheel is a lot more efficient and faster than doing the same operation manually.
