ABUS Detecto X-Plus 8077 is an electronic brake disc lock with an alarm function based on 3D detection. As soon as the bike is moved, an alarm of at least 100 dB goes off. There are several acoustic signals for battery status, activation and the alarm itself.
This package received Security Level 19, which means that the lock offers optimal protection in case of a high risk of theft. The lock body is protected against drilling all around and the famous ABUS X-Plus cylinder ensures high protection against manipulation like lockpicking.
For optimal theft protection, make sure the chain lock is not placed on or near the ground. That way you protect the chain against hard-handed manipulation.
The Detecto X-Plus 8077 Disc Brake Lock is easy to use. The alarm is activated when the lock is pressed on the brake disk for 2 seconds during application. After activation, a red light flashes to show that the bike is protected - and thus a deterrent. The compact disc brake lock can be used separately and fits easily into a small tank bag or under the seat. It comes with a handy transport pouch and two keys, one of which has an LED light to make it easy to open in the dark. Two AAA batteries are included, so you can use the lock immediately. The chain fits (without the disc brake lock) in the ABUS ST1010 protection bag.
