The Aqua from Held is the best selling motorcycle rain pants in the RAD range. Its sharp price undoubtedly has something to do with that, but the quality of this excellent motorbike rain pants counts as well, of course.
It is quite simple: motorbike rain pants, you want to get into it quickly, and they have to keep you dry as long as possible. The side zipper up to knee height does for the first what polyamide does for the latter. At the top, the waist is elastic, which means you no longer have to stand under a bridge fidgeting and frolicking at the side of the road. The lining is polyester and even though a blind man can see this is 'rain gear', there is no 'plastic feel'. Furthermore, you store these rain pants neatly in the integrated storage bag.
An extra plus is the very wide size chart of the Aqua: from 2XS to 12XL; quite a number of shapes and sizes will fit nicely. At Held, they also make a distinction between short and longer sizes, with about seven centimeters difference between them. In these online times, it is interesting to know that rain pants can be bought in the same size as the motorcycle pants you wear them over. If your standard size is an XL, then your Aqua should also be an XL.
The Aqua is not equipped with reflectors. To increase visibility in traffic, we advise to combine the pants with a fluorescent raincoat, like for example the Held Mistral II. Oh, and why would you choose biker rain pants, why not just wear bicycle rain pants? Twenty kilometers on the highway, second lane, in rainy weather. That should be enough to be convinced that the impact on a motorcycle is a lot more severe than on a bicycle.
