This simple but well thought-out cruise control can be mounted on your throttle grip.
The mechanism exists in two similar versions, suited for different diameters. Handlebar diameter 22 mm/throttle grip diameter 25-30 mm or for 25 mm handlebars with a 31-36 mm grip. So measure the diameter of your handlebars beforehand and/or take into account handlebars that have already been adapted to a larger diameter.
To use the mechanism: put the clamp in vertical position on the grip. That's all there is to it. At the desired speed, push the clamp with the index finger against the brake lever. The clamp will keep your throttle in the chosen position. Close the throttle to reset.
This cruise control has a total length of 9,5 cm for the 22 mm version and 10,5 cm for the 25 mm version.
In the package you will find an elastic band that can be used in combination with metal grips.
Attention: Do not combine this cruise control with other installed (electronic) systems. Keep in mind that the use of a cruise control can increase your reaction time, so one is enough. Try the mechanism in advance, at standstill, to avoid surprises on the way. It goes without saying that a cruise control - no matter the type - is only suitable to relieve your hand and wrist during long rides on straight roads. Do never use these on curvy roads, in heavy or urban traffic, when riding off-road, or in traffic jams.
