Sena has provided the SMH5 with impressive specifications and the "Jog Dial" allows for all of the headset's functions to be controlled intuitively, simply by turning and clicking.
Possibilities
- Telephone/Navigation/Audio systems
- Intercom between rider and passenger
- Rider-to-Rider Intercom
Bluetooth V3.0 and AVRCP/A2DP protocols and noise reduction with "wind-noise" elimination ensure a flawless wireless connection with excellent sound quality. The SMH5 is delivered with a "Boom type" microphone for use in a system or jet helmet and a built-in microphone for use in a full-face helmet. This makes the SMH5 suitable for any type of helmet.
"Jog Dial"
All functions are easily controlled via the unique "Jog Dial". This large, easy-to-use knob allows for intuitive control of all the headset's functions, simply by turning and clicking.
Battery
The built-in lithium-polymer battery has enough power for 10 hours talk-time or 7 days stand-by. The battery status of the unit is indicated on the unit itself and through the speakers.
The Sena SMH5 is available as a "Single or Dual" kit.
For your information: The SMH5 units cannot be paired with a remote control.
General remark: The world of electronics (which also includes intercoms, smartphones, gps, etc.) is changing so fast, that it's possible that some (outdated) devices are not compatible with each other in certain areas. Unfortunately, the manufacturer can't provide us with data that shows which combinations between intercoms/gps's and/or smartphones cause problems. A regular update of all electronic devices is therefore desirable to avoid problems as much as possible.
