The Stemp Lady is essentially a matte black leather pants, without many extras and without frills. The basics, as they should be. Although today you can just as well think of it as a fashion statement because leather pants, do say something.
There was a time, when the animals still spoke and bikers in city pants rode five-horsepower motorcycles. After the animals fell silent and the first crashes had occurred, they switched to leather as a protective material and that was not a bad choice. It gave the motorcyclist a certain - tough - image. It is in that spirit that you can locate the Stemp Lady. Or is it.
The Stemp Lady looks like a pair of jeans, up to the construction with two back pockets and two front pockets. Equipped with a zipper, and closed on the waistband with a press and slide button, this is in accordance with all contemporary standards. The Stemp Lady has no protectors, nor any provision to attach protectors. The pants also have no seams on the knees. Leather is a hardwearing material anyway, and the lack of seams increases that effect even more, so you can - and should - get on the bike in these without any problem.
A polyester lining makes it very easy to put on and take off. No hassle with pants legs that are too tight, sticking leather, cans of talcum powder and all kinds of things you sometimes see in movies or series. Just get in and out. And get on.
That makes the Stemp Lady a rather tough leather pair of pants, which does not contain all the functionalities of the standard (no protectors), but that do have a high degree of natural wear-resistance, combines that with comfort and convenience. Somewhere between the past and the present.
A small side note: leather and abundant waterfall are not an ideal combination.
We recommend regular treatment with a water-repellent maintenance product. This treatment makes sure the pants cannot get soaked and also makes sure that dirt does not attach to the pants. For longer-term maintenance, we recommend using a spray for matte leather, so that the leather remains supple.
