This very nice leather motorcycle pants should be in every closet. Just because it's cool to wear leather pants once in a while. And no, we are not going to argue about that.
Fact is: the Stemp from Modeka has to be just about the most accessible leather motorcycle pants since the invention of leather pants in general. That's somewhat thanks to the soft, supple, matte leather nubuck from which they are almost entirely constructed. Forget the fake, shiny, tight leather outfit that makes you slide off your chair into a 1980's decor: this is leather in a jeans cut and that works perfectly. And forget about the talcum powder with which you have to crawl into that same outfit because the Stemp is nicely lined and and is as easy to put on and take off as any other pants. Did we mention that the Stemp is made of soft, supple and matte leather? Well, okay then. Did we mention cool? Very well.
The jeans cut is straight down and in technical terms that's called a 'regular fit'. Practically speaking, it means that your cowboy boots slide nicely underneath. There is room to fit a pair of knee protectors, should you so wish. These are not standardly supplied, because experience has taught us that they are often immediately removed from cool leather pants like these. Hip protection is not an option.
What you see is what you get. On top of all that coolness. So that means: pockets like you would find in jeans, including the small one on the right front. The double slide and press button on top of the sturdy zipper keeps things closed on the way. Good belt loops are also included.
Keep in mind that leather - no matter how cool - is rarely close friends with water. And leather 'lives', so it just kind of... 'settles' to your... well.
