OPTIMATE Testmate TS-120N 12V

The Optimate Testmate TS-120 is a small but handy tool that allows you to test not only the voltage and starting power of your battery, but also the charging circuit of your vehicle.

The Testmate is very easy to use:

• Connect the Testmate directly to the battery by means of the alligator clips, or use an SAE connection that is connected directly to the battery.
• When the engine is not running, the Testmate will show the battery level: red = between 12V and 12,5V, green = between 12,5V and 13V, flashing green = higher than 13,2V (Lithium)
• When the motorcycle is started, the Testmate displays how far the battery voltage drops during start-up. This is an indication of the strength of the battery. The scale on the unit gives a general indication of whether the result is good or bad.
• While the engine is running, the Testmate gives an indication of the voltage generated by the vehicle's charging system. The scale on the unit gives a general indication of whether the result is good or bad. Excessive charging voltage can be very damaging to batteries, especially Lithium batteries.
