ALPINESTARS Hip protector set Nucleon KR-H L

These hip protectors (they exist in two sizes) were developed by Alpinestars to fit under a pair of motorcycle jeans. You can go up to slim-fit, so the tight-fitting ones are also taken into account.

How is that possible? Alpinestars makes these lightweight hip protectors in energy-absorbing polymer foam which is perforated to allow maximum airflow and comfort. The result is a thin and flexible protector that adapts to your body shape and anatomy. However, nothing is sacrificed in terms of safety, because the hip protectors are CE-level 1 approved (EN 1621-1:2012) and therefore meet stringent requirements.

Of course you'll find two pieces in the package - left and right are not interchangeable - and you get an extra storage bag, which may also lead to more comfort if you leave it around the protector before putting it in the pants. Applying the protector is easy and hassle-free, thanks to the invention called velcro.
