The striking accordion panels at the front and back ensure optimal freedom of movement on and off the bike. Control is also improved. The air outlet on the heel reveals additional ventilating properties.
The boots are equipped with integrated ankle and shin protection. Both the inside and outside of the ankle are reinforced with TPU. There is no ankle brace to prevent twisting, which might make them a little less track-loving. Reinforcements on the sole and the toes are obvious, just like the shifting reinforcement and the replaceable toe slider.
Made of durable and breathable (patented and new) microfiber material, this boot offers great value for money in the form of strength and comfort. A removable anatomical footbed with EVA and lycra especially enhance the latter. The Alpinestars exclusive rubber compound sole offers improved water drainage and good grip. The large (side) entry makes it easy for almost everyone to get into the boot. Opening and closing is done by means of a zipper and velcro system for optimal fit. The puller of the zipper can be attached inside the boot, so it is never in the way.
