Unless you keep your motorcycle as a pretty ornament in the living room - something which isn't all that out of the ordinary, for us enthusiasts - we expect that you start and run the engine on a regularly basis. We all know that running engines vibrate, even if you don't experience those vibrations all that much, while riding.
In extreme cases, vibrations can lead to the loss of bolts and screws, but even if it doesn't come to that, this blue screw locking tool from BGS Technic is an extra reassurance.
Tightening bolts after a repair, or for any other reason, can now be done through various means, not only mechanically, but also with the help of this handy spray can. This locking agent is specially developed to withstand all conditions on the road, and it ensures that you keep it all together, in a literary fashion.
Use
Clear the thread of all grease and put a drop of this locking agent on the bolt. Then tighten it, according to the guidelines in the workshop manual. Allow everything to dry and harden. The 'medium-strength' rating means that you can take the bolt or nut off again at a later point, without permanent damaging the thread.
It may seem obvious, but gloves are highly recommended when using this product. Also, avoid contact with the eyes and skin, and work in a well-ventilated area.
