The brown Kaleo is a leather motorcycle jacket for on and off the bike. One that looks vintage but can appeal to all contemporary functionalities.
A little extra relief on the shoulders gives this short goatskin leather jacket a tough look. 'Summery' is a difficult concept to define, but with ventilation zips, the Kaleo tends more in that direction. Especially since leather and water don't always give the best results.
A leather jacket can be relatively tight around the body. It's slightly centred and pieces of accordion fabric above the elbows allow for extra freedom of movement. Besides being flexible, it is also light to wear, and therefore very comfortable. A central zipper keeps the jacket neatly closed. At the end of the sleeves you can choose whether you want to wear your gloves in or over your jacket, thanks to a zipper. The collar closes with a press button. Two zippered pockets give you storage space on the outside. Inside you can double that number although the pocket on the right side will mainly fit your smartphone.
Shoulder and elbows got certified protectors. No 'shells', but level EN1621-1 specimens of the flexible kind. The foam-rubber back protector can easily be replaced by a SAS-TEC® version. The Kaleo comes with a jeans loop, which allows you to attach the jacket to your belt. The combination with a good pair of motorcycle jeans is an obvious choice.
