The Edda Lady is a leather ladies’ jacket that can and will come in handy both on and off the bike. Perfectly protective and yet fashionable.
A short leather jacket for on the motorcycle, with a back that is just a tad longer, to avoid an unprotected back. Furthermore, the Edda Lady looks like an ordinary leather jacket. A bit tougher perhaps, with an outer surface of high-quality cowhide leather with some extra relief on the shoulders. The ventilation zippers on the sides give away that the Edda Lady is just that little bit more than an ordinary leather jacket.
Leather and rain, it's usually not a great combination, especially on a motorcycle. A wet motorway ride might be too much of a good thing, but the wax layer on the Edda gives a bit of resistance. Walking around in the city, a few drops are of course no problem at all. Especially not with the zippered hood which provides a hoodie effect. As long as you avoid the most extreme conditions, the Edda Lady can be used in very different circumstances.
A leather jacket is allowed to be relatively tight around the body. It is slightly centered and above the elbows pieces of accordion fabric provide extra freedom of movement. Besides being flexible it is also light to wear, and therefore extra comfortable. A central zipper keeps the jacket neatly shut. At the end of the sleeves, thanks to a zipper you can choose whether you want to wear your gloves over or inside the jacket. The collar closes with a magnet.
Storage space on the outside with two zippered pockets. Inside you can double that number, although the pocket on the right side is mainly for your smartphone.
Shoulder and elbows got certified protectors. No 'cups’, but level EN1621-1 specimens of the flexible kind. The standard foam back protector can easily be replaced by a SAS-TEC® version. Discreet reflective strips (3M™ Scotchlite™) ensure good visibility at night and in the evening.
The Edda Lady comes with a jeans loop, which allows you to attach the jacket to your belt. The combination with a good pair of jeans is obvious.
Below you will find an overview per jacket size of the appropriate CE homologated SAS-TEC® back protector.
