The Falco Ayda 2 is a trendy and elegant leather motorcycle boot, although you can also use the word 'motorcycle'. The Italian touch is hard to deny and even without a motorcycle you will come a long way.
However, internally everything is there for safe and comfortable touring. A full grain matte leather exterior provides a sleek look and the integrated High-Tex membrane even makes Gianni Falco use the term 'waterproof'. Italy is not Belgium, so we are a bit more cautious ourselves, although these boots can stand a bit of rain. A fully rained out day on the bike might be too much, though.
A reinforced toe, reinforced heel and an integrated D30 ankle pad offer the protection you can expect from a full-fledged motorcycle boot. Relatively invisible, because it does not change its sleek design. The shift reinforcement is included, but can just as easily be left out. Maybe it depends on whether you're sitting in the front or the back. The heel height is 5,5 cm.
Getting in and out of the shoe is quick and easy, thanks to the zipper on the inside. This zipper reaches over the entire length of the boot and at the top a strip of velcro protects the trigger. At the top of the shaft the Ayda 2 is finished for more comfort.
