The Dany 2 is an elegant women's boot that has a certain amount of toughness to it. The buckles, the wide outsole ... these are biker boots with an Italian design for trendy lady bikers.
The full grain leather outer shell has an integrated High-Tex membrane, which is enough to use the label 'waterproof' according to Italian standards. That these Dany 2-boots can endure quite a bit is certain, but we wouldn't call it 100% waterproof ourselves.
The weather in 'the boot' is not of the same order as here and our March showers, April whims or autumn storms are usually wetter than is really good for the Dany 2. That doesn't detract from the quality otherwise. As long as you don't seek out the most extreme conditions, you'll be fine.
The reinforced toe, heel and ankle cup guarantee a high level of impact protection. The shifting reinforcement is one of the removable ones. In other words, after the ride nobody notices that you're wearing a full-fledged motorcycle boot. The heel height is 3,5 cm.
The double buckles on the outside are mainly aesthetic parts that accentuate the tough motor/biker look. Getting in and out is quick and easy thanks to the zipper on the inside. This zipper reaches over the entire length of the boot and at the top a strip of velcro protects the trigger.
