'Classic' in the name, it's a bit of a giveaway. With this waterproof Classic-ST, IXS markets a classic looking, neutral motorcycle boot, but at a price for which you won't find many others.
The relatively narrow boot is made of textile and plastic, although no one will blame you if you confuse the microfiber with (artificial) leather. Together with the SoltoTex membrane, this guarantees dry feet, even during the heaviest rainfall. The profiled sole provides ideal grip, both on and off the asphalt. Plastic ankle protection on both sides and reinforcement on the heel and shin are present. Everything is literally on the interior, which gives the Classic-ST a neutral and clean look.
At the back of the shaft and the front of the boot, large accordion panels ensure a high degree of mobility and comfort. There is no zipper. A double velcro strap closes and opens the bootleg. The upper velcro strip allows you to adjust the boot to the calf. This ensures a comfortable feeling, both on and off the bike.
The front is finished higher than the back, where you'll find a piece of reflective material on the heel. For this price, this is a good, high motor boot to be used often.
It is recommended to treat motor boots with a water-repellent spray. You can combine this boot with a good pair of motorbike pants or with (motorbike) jeans.
