The Oximiser 3X is the Oximiser 900's bigger brother. The 900 already is a top device, so the standard is even higher. The 3X can also recharge your car battery, although 'recharge' is not the right word in this case. With the Oximiser 3X, Oxford provides you with a device that allows for complete and almost perfect management of any battery.
The Oximiser 3X allows you to follow the entire eight-step management cycle that the device goes through on an easy-to-read and backlit LCD screen. From the correct connection to the terminals, via the search for the best charging method, the gradual and controlled - and therefore safe - build-up of charge, to charging at a fast rate up to 85% and maintaining it at 100%, to the voltage check, the indication of the general condition of the connected battery and the maintenance mode to keep the battery in optimal condition. The result is obvious: unless you check it yourself every 15 minutes, you couldn't take better care of a battery than the 3X.
You can read the real-time info on the very readable display. The Oximiser 3X use induction cooling and the package includes alligator clips, O-connectors with weatherproof caps and a bracket to hang the battery charger on a fixed spot on the wall of the garage or workshop. No fewer than three levels of charging are available: one specifically for motorcycles (< 36Ah, 0.8 amps, 14.4V), another for cars (up to 125 Ah, 3.6 amps, 14.4V) and a programme developed specifically for AMG batteries and winter storage (3.6 amps, 14.7V).
Are there any limitations? Actually, no. Even a lithium battery may be attempted to bring back to life with the Oximiser 3X. This is a professional device that can maintain almost any type of battery, all by itself. The life span of any 12 V battery will benefit from it, and so will the contents of your wallet.
If you can do with a somewhat less potent device, then the Oximiser 900 may be an alternative.
