Don't be fooled by the apparent simplicity and clean design: the Chevak GTX is a waterproof all-round winter glove for daily commuting fun. Or just a nice motorcycle ride in slightly less ideal conditions.
The Chevak GTX has a GORE-TEX waterproof membrane on board which tells you that it's good. Waterproof gloves are no luxury and these make good on the promise. The relatively neutral and unobtrusive appearance makes this a relatively quiet and ubiquitous option. It doesn't really matter what jacket you're wearing or what style appeals to you most. And as soon as you put your hand in it and feel the soft, warm (Thermolite) lining, you know: winter riding comfort, it's possible.
Goatskin leather on the palm, with or without extra layers, just like on the fingertips, provides good grip. PWR|Shell (twill stretch) on the back of the hand, where you'll also find soft and elastic knuckle protection, guarantees a solid protection. The fingers and lower half of the gloves are made of PWR|Shell (300D), which will almost certainly provide good wrist protection.
At the wrist - and more specifically when opening or closing - is another innovation. The 'single-motion closure' allows you in one smooth motion both a strap and the corresponding and connected velcro strip to open and/or close. Easier, faster and above all: with the other hand already in a glove you notice the difference very clearly.
Flock PU material on the index finger serves as a visor wiper and a stripe well-functioning Connect fingertip fabric to operate a smartphone, make the Chevak GTX a glove of very high level.
