The Gunner V2 is a textile jacket made entirely from abrasion-resistant and tear-resistant materials, with a 100% waterproof and breathable membrane to ensure insulation and riding comfort. That membrane is not removable, unlike the additional zip-off thermal lining that allows you to stay on the road comfortably well into (and beyond) autumn. On hotter days, open up the ventilation zippers for some pleasant ventilation, and you're guaranteed an all-round, all-weather jacket that can be used between January 1st and Christmas. This is and remains Alpinestars of course: relatively short in cut (longer than the average race jacket admittedly), sporty and it may all feel nice and tight, with preformed sleeves that prevent fatigue. The lower back is longer and reinforced for that typical slightly hunched motorcycle position. Thanks to a number of straps with buckles, you can fully adjust the jacket to your riding position and wishes. They can be found on the upper arms and at waist level. Zippers and velcro strips on the sleeve ends are also included. The detailed collar can be closed with velcro. Two side pockets, two inner pockets and a waterproof compartment provide the necessary storage space.
Safety comes standard thanks to CE-certified shoulder and elbow protectors.
The jacket is equipped with compartments on the chest and back, where you can
easily fit the Nucleon Flex Pro Ci chest protector and Nucleon Plasma back protector (level 2 certified) or Nucleon KR-CELLi
back protector (level 1 certified).
Reflective material is inconspicuous
but guarantees significantly better visibility at night.
Logos and padding on the shoulders give the Gunner V2 that extra, typical Alpinestars feel. Pre-shaped sleeves, the clean cut ... the Gunner V2 can hardly hide the fact that the pedigree has roots somewhere in racing, although it remains above all a very pleasant and versatile textile jacket.
