The Dominator 2 GTX is are all-weather motorcycle pants in the tradition of the Poseidon 2 GTX: 3-layer laminated GORE-TEX with exceptional ventilation properties. The Dominator 2 is - strictly speaking - fit to ride around the world.
’Laminated' means attached to the outer fabric. In two or three layers, depending on the location. An extra advantage of laminated membranes is that the pants never absorb water, which makes them always light and comfortable, and also allows them to dry quickly. The 3L GORE-TEX used takes this to a higher level. The base fabric is the abrasion-resistant 600D, supplemented with Armacor, Talisman, Kevlar and leather panels. A lot, and everything is geared towards optimal wear resistance, a long lifespan and excellent protection.
Just like the (almost) homonymous jacket, the pants got the innovative VCS | aquadefence system with the FidLock® magnetic closure for optimal ventilation. You can easily operate it with one hand while riding and the 'gutter' around the ventilation opening prevents water from finding its way in.
But beware: the strong magnets do not go well with pacemakers, so ask for advice when in doubt.
The standard-fit SEEFLEX CE-level 2 knee protectors and SEESMART™ CE-level 1 hip protectors make this a top-notch pair of pants in terms of impact protection and wearing comfort. The knee protectors extend well above the shins. Expertly applied reflective strips increase visibility in dark conditions.
Anti-slip material on the seat surface ensures that the wearer remains properly seated. The pant legs open at the bottom with a mid-length zip. Velcro strips ensure a perfectly adaptable fit, on top or in the motorcycle boot. You also have an adjustable belt on the calf. A higher back of the pants guarantees that the back remains covered even when sitting in a sporty position.
The Dominator 2 GTX is equipped to attach Strapper suspenders.
