Not everyone has an iron butt and can stay seated for hours during continental rides. Not every motorcycle is built for that either, not every butt can handle it and not every saddle is appropriate.
That are a lot of negations in that sentence but the AIRHAWK® is still an added value.
Your a** will thank you, that much is for sure. Don’t forget that a bike ride is only fun as long as it is fun for the passenger. AIRHAWK® manufactures different models for different bikes and saddle types. Painful pressure points and a numb behind are now definitely in the past. The principle is simple: an extra layer of air between bike and body serve as a shock absorber, diminishes the presence of heat and moisture and keeps everything blissfully fresh. Gels heat up, foam rubber gets hard and plastic already is.
What remains: air. And before you sit down on a balloon: there are tiny air channels in an AIRHAWK® that better ‘direct’ the airflow to make a comfortable asset of every AIRHAWK® seat cushion. That’s the AIRHAWK® secret: similar alternatives without these fine air channels create a bouncy castle effect – this does not.
The cushion is easy to carry, but thanks to its high-quality, it can also just stay on the seat of your motorbike. An AIRHAWK® seat cushion is attached on top of your saddle with two supplied elastic straps that pass underneath your saddle. You literally blow the air into it yourself with a handy and easily-accessible air valve.
This cushion is the Cruiser R Large, 35 cm long and 37 cm wide. There is a cutout at the front, which allows it to connect to the tank nicely. The mesh cover provides extra ventilation.
