The Faster is a glove that fits in the tradition of the short summer and mid-season gloves like the Mustang (V2), the Cityrun Drystar or the Syncro Drystar, all from Alpinestars.
The exterior is made of textile, the biggest visual difference with the Mustang V2 which is made entirely of leather. Stretch, microfiber, softshell ... Alpinestars uses the known mix that combines a pleasant feeling with a good look. The back of the hand is in this case also a good windbreak, because this summer glove is best worn a bit longer. For the palm, Alpinestars traditionally opts for (goatskin) leather. Good durability and great grip combined.
The safety material in the Faster is slightly less prominent than we (spoiled as we are) often see at Alpinestars. The knuckle protector is one of the soft kind. Padding, rubber protection on the palm, a reinforced little finger ... it's all more than enough and it provides the Faster with a CE certification, level 1.
The velcro strip on the short cuff is easy to operate, although you don't need to take off the gloves to operate a touch screen. It makes the Faster a price-quality topper.
