This brown semi-high boot is a very complete motorcycle boot - with GORE-TEX® - that hides pretty well in a classic, urban, stylish cover. And those last three features really sum it up.
Daytona and GORE-TEX® have a tradition together, and the Classic GTX fits right in with the line of waterproof motorcycle boots the German specialist puts on the market. The difference being that this brown 'classic' looks atypically 'ordinary'. Anyone who doesn't know Daytona as a motorcycle boot manufacturer will certainly not suspect that a whole load of protective material is concealed beneath the matte leather brown exterior: ankle, heel, toe, they can all count on a high level of protection. The integrated GORE-TEX® membrane, however, is the real added value. Breathable, waterproof and of superior quality, it makes these AC Classics a real winner.
Because of the waterproof element, the AC Classic slides on your feet like a sock, except that you'll find a zipper on the inside of each shoe to make it all just that little bit easier. It also means that the laces - to a large extent responsible for the classic style - mainly have a visual function. A velcro strip protects the trigger of the zipper (when closed) or the motorcycle, depending on how you look at it.
The shaft is just over 20 centimeters high, which pretty much situates this motorcycle boot 'in between worlds'. She can go perfectly next to any army boot but is enough of a boot to make you feel safe and stable on the motorcycle. At the back, where the Achilles tendon usually comes into conflict with the shaft, the shaft is shorter to prevent this from happening, while the tongue reaches almost 5 centimeters higher at the front. Underneath all this lies a sturdy rubber sole, finished off with an insole to keep it extra comfortable.
Daytona doesn’t have to be taught how to make a good shoe, and with these AC Classics they're now adding a high level of urban all-round style.
