This versatile and all in all unobtrusive intercom was designed to fit the Shoei GT-Air II, J-Cruise II and Neotec II (manufactured as of March 8, 2019!). In a word, you can do 'everything' with it. It's that simple. Listen to music, confer with eight travel companions, receive GPS coordinates ...
Sena and Shoei joined forces for the SRL2 and it shows. Or better: it doesn’t. The cooperation results in an almost completely integrated intercom, which you control with three buttons and your voice.
Bluetooth is the essence when it comes to connectivity. Reaching up to eight other intercoms over a kilometer and a half while listening to music is no problem. As soon as someone says something, the music volume automatically decreases, to rise again after the conversation. The SRL2 links to your smartphone without any problems, so incoming phone calls or GPS directions are perfectly possible. Just like sharing music, streaming or just about everything at once.
The SRL2 is also a smart device. As your speed - and the wind - increases, the volume in your helmet increases automatically. That way you always hear what you need to hear, at an appropriate level. A built-in FM radio makes it easy to browse through the radio stations and even save them if necessary. A downloadable Sena smartphone app also guarantees a digital platform and ease of use that is second to none for the time being.
The SRL2 integrates into the GT-Air II, J-Cruise II or Neotec II as if it were made for nothing else, and of course it is.
General note: The world of electronics (which also includes intercoms, smartphones, GPSs, etc.) is changing so fast, that it is possible that some (outdated) devices are not compatible with each other in certain areas. Unfortunately, the manufacturer can't provide us with data that show which combinations between intercoms/ GPSs and/or smartphones cause problems. A regular update of all electronic devices is therefore desirable to avoid problems as much as possible.
