Attention!
Not all textile/leather comes from the same source and there are differences in colour nuances as well. It is recommended to test this product on a piece of leather that is not in clear view, before you tackle the entire surface.
Nothing as annoying as a soggy motorcycle outfit! It may still be a warm day, when the moisture starts to evaporate, you get cold, and with the moisture your riding pleasure will evaporate. Moreover, leather or textile clothing that has been sucked full of water can feel very heavy and uncomfortable.
The S100 Textile / Leather Waterproof impregnation spray forms a water-repellent layer on top of the clothing, so that the fibres cannot suck themselves full of water. This impregnation spray is suitable for motorcycle clothing with and without climate membranes (GORE-TEX, Sympatex, ...) and keeps the breathability of the membranes intact. The impregnation spray not only offers an excellent water-repellent effect, it also protects against UV rays so that your motorcycle clothing is protected against discolouration and stays beautiful for longer.
You can use the spray for motorcycle clothing, boots, gloves, ... but also for tank bags, backpacks and tents.
Textile and leather impregnation
Dirty textile or leather is best cleaned before you treat it with impregnation spray.
Shake the spray can well and spray a thin, even layer on the dry garment from about 20 cm distance. Make sure not to spray the garment all wet. It is better to spray a thin layer several times and let it dry in-between. Any product residue can be easily removed afterwards with a soft brush.
Use the impregnation spray only in a well-ventilated area or outside. Never use the product in full sunlight or on a heated surface and let it dry outside in the shade or inside in a well-ventilated place.
How does it work?
The active ingredients (aliphatic hydrocarbons) envelop the leather or textile fibres and, as they dry, they erect themselves side by side like a multitude of umbrellas. The UV protection prevents the clothing from discolouring, keeping it looking sharp for longer.
