If we ask 100 bikers to come up with a classic motorcycle glove that would fit, say, cafe racers, we'll end up with something like this right here. The Alpinestars Crazy Eight motorcycle gloves are short, classic, summery and all leather.
The leather used has been worked and the slightly shiny, retro result is the definition of 'classic'. In the best sense possible, because it is stylish and elegant. The same leather is also perforated on the back of the hand and the padding which serves as knuckle protection. In other words, the Crazy Eight motorcycle gloves are not waterproof. Wear-resistant, however. With the consideration that leather ‘alone’ can't reach the contemporary standards that are sometimes considered obvious. As soon as you put them on, comfortable and tight, you feel that you should not try to break your lap record with these.
Apart from that, this motorcycle glove is CE certified (level 1). In the first place because leather is still an excellent, tear and abrasion resistant choice. You don't have to look for synthetic material. Both the knuckle reinforcement and the extra protection on the palm are made of foam.
The only non-leather element is the rivet on the velcro strip that closes the short cuff. So no push button, unless it is in your mind. With many accordion elements that provide quite some relief on the back of the hand, but mainly have a function in the field of flexibility and comfort. This is a real 'classic'.
A modern classic, because with the fingertips you can absolutely operate a touchscreen.
The Alpinestars Crazy Eight gloves are part of the OSCAR by Alpinestars collection.
