The combination (motorbike pants and motorbike jacket) with the name Elaya Lady is situated neatly between a number of other Modeka combos (Tacoma, Panamericana ...), each of which emphasizes a specific strength. Here the emphasis is on comfort, at a very competitive price.
That doesn't mean that everything else is forgotten. The Elaya Lady - from now on it's only about the jacket - is an easily centered (and therefore tight) 3-in-1, of which the outside mainly consists of abrasion resistant 450D. On places that are extra vulnerable in case of a crash, ripstop is applied as a protective layer. A 100% water and windproof Humax® membrane keeps you dry, without compromising on breathability. The waterproof membrane can be zipped off when required, just like the removable thermal lining that protects you from cold temperatures. The Elaya Lady features Air Vent Technology, in the form of ventilation zippers on the chest and arms. When in use, you can also open up the rear vents.
There are plenty of options for individual adjustment. On the sleeves especially the two velcro strips stand out, next to the velcro strip at the end of the sleeves. The same sleeve ends have a specific cuff with stretch material. Two length-adjustable velcro strips allow you to tighten the flanks, while the height of the cuffs can be adjusted. The collar closes at the front and the back, by means of velcro.
YF is responsible for the impact protection. Shoulders and elbows are standard equipped with CE-approved protectors. Who chooses to, can without much difficulty add an optional CE-approved back protector. Evidently, there is adequate reflective material present. Not so conspicuous during the day, all the safer in the evening and at night.
Storage space is sufficient but not excessive. Side and front pockets are the main places to take something with you. Inside the jacket, there are a few more options.
A long and a short connecting zipper keep a lot of combination possibilities open, although it seems obvious that you'll want to complete the combination with the Elaya motorbike pants, for a perfect result.
