Zones that are at risk in case of a crash are given extra protection with ripstop. YF type protectors are standard on the knees (EN 1621-1). The foam hip protectors can be upgraded to SAS-TEC SC-1/07-exemplars if desired. All of this stays carefully in place at all times, as will the rider, who will experience the positive effect of anti-slip material on the seat.
Getting in and out of these pants is easy thanks to the zippers at the bottom. Connecting to the boots and legs is done by means of velcro (bottom) or the snaps under and above the knees. An identical series of three press studs can be found a little higher up, at the back of the thighs. It's just a matter of tightening the outer side in time if you are not using the removable thermo lining and zipper-removable Humax® membrane for a while. We mention these two here as an exception in passing, but they are definitely there. The Elaya Lady is a 3-in-1 which, thanks to a number of ventilation openings on the upper legs can actually be worn at any time of the year.
Stretch in the knees, accordion strips in the front, the high waist and the possibility to wear everything tight, a couple of pockets with zippers ... the Elaya Lady is a very sturdy motorcycle pants at a very competitive price.
