The Modeka Arunas motorcycle boots have a razor-sharp price and a number of assets that definitely make them worth considering.
The PU coating and the cowhide that give the exterior of these half-long motorcycle boots their look, fit the expectations perfectly. It delivers considerably wear-resistant, light and yet sufficiently sturdy motorcycle boots, provided internally with a breathing and waterproof Hipora®-membrane. Another layer below that, there’s an added comfortable lining.
The oil and petrol-resistant sole give the Modeka Arunas motorcycle boots their robust firmness. The shin protector and the heel and toe reinforcements also contribute to that effect. Then again, the ankle protection is more flexible, which makes walking around in these motorcycle boots no problem at all.
To get in and out of the Modeka Arunas motorcycle boots, you use the zips. Multiple, indeed, because there’s one on the left and the right that reaches all the way up there. Knowing that the cover flaps – with Velcro – also double as an adjustment option on the calves, you’ll see that there are quite a few options to customise the fit of the Arunas.
You see a gear panel, reflective material on the heel, a back that offers flexibility thanks to the wide accordion panels, while everything stays relatively light and compact. This results in a more than decent motorcycle boot, especially for this price tag.
Please keep in mind that half-long motorcycle boots are not a 100% conclusive solution against water.
We recommend regular treatment with a water-repellent maintenance product. This treatment makes sure the boot doesn't get soaked and it also makes sure that the dirt doesn't attach to the boot. For longer-term maintenance, we recommend using a nourishing balm so that the leather remains supple.
