With the Muddy Track, Modeka delivers a very interesting motorcycle shoe. It definitely has style and charisma, and it is also adventurous.
With a bit of bad will one can see a sawn-off adventure-motor boot in it. Externally there is something to be said for that: the two flexible plastic buckles are typical for this market segment and once you adjust the length correctly, getting in becomes a real ease. Quick-release buckles also do as they promise: allow you to get out of the boot quickly.
Although we don't know why you would want to do that: the Muddy Track is a motorcycle shoe we like to use often. And that's perfect, because the Hipora® membrane makes it water- and windproof. Of course, 18 centimeters of shaft is not the only way to save your life. Who wants to plow through the mud up to their knees, will surely find alternatives. If you like the adventure look and like to give the impression that you can plough through the mud if you want to, the Muddy Track is the right choice.
A cutaway - literally at the Achilles heel - illustrates that comfort was considered during the design process. The heel and toe are clearly reinforced. The ankle can also count on extra reinforcement. Thanks in part to the continuous rubber sole, the Muddy Track is a fairly sturdy motorcycle shoe; the adventure style contributes to this.
The horizontal pattern on the inside of the shoe, where contact with the bike is the greatest, provides a good feeling. The mainly matte black leather is only interrupted at the front by a smoother accordion piece. Shift reinforcement, yes of course.
Reflective material on the heel increases visibility. This can be useful in the dark, but we think that the Muddy Track will stand out sufficiently in broad daylight.
There is maintenance clothing, and then there is clothing maintenance. Good, solid motorcycle clothing is an investment in comfort and personal safety. So invest in its maintenance after your purchase and enjoy your gear for longer.
