This Basic Mesh fluorescent jacket is especially designed and developed to be worn on top of summer motorcycle jackets. That is to say: you are free to wear it over any good motorcycle jacket, but when you are specifically on the road with a summer jacket, it is handy if your fluorescent jacket has the same properties.
This reflective overcoat - it's not a stand-alone jacket - is made of 100% polyester and has mesh panels on the chest and back. You open and close the jacket with a central zipper, so you don't have to struggle to pull the fluorescent jacket over your helmet. Two double velcro straps (four indeed) allow you to vary the width and fit of the flanks. Also because the black colored pieces on the flanks are elastic.
There are no pockets or storage space. This jacket is robust (no flapping water things) and has no extra impact protection.
