The renewed Tornado - hence number 3 - is a continuation of their original summer pants. Tornado pants can be made warmer and waterproof. Which doesn’t mean a waterproof and warm pants, where you can choose to let the wind in. Important difference!
The Tornado 3 - for men and women, jacket and pants - got a new, more breathable and stretchy membrane.
Starting point is still breathable pants that form the outer shell. In order to be able to speak of durable - and therefore protective - pants, REV'IT! uses the proven PWR|Shell, a combination of wear-resistant and tear-resistant materials. Standard SEEFLEX™ CE-certified knee protectors (in adjustable pockets) and SEESMART™ CE-level 1 hip protectors are REV'IT! proprietary designs that have earned their stripes in both impact protection and comfort. Expertly applied reflective material increases visibility in dark conditions.
So far, so good. But then. Whereas with most pants you ride comfortably in the morning and start messing about as soon as it gets too hot, the Tornado 3 turns that around. In the morning, you're fine with the 2-in-1 thermal lining with waterproof Hydratex®-lite membrane, and as soon as it warms up, you take that out. It turns the Tornado 3 into the ideal holiday pants heading south. And the ideal commuter pants. The ideal pants in general.
Especially since you can expect all the REV'IT features.
Anti-slip material on the seat ensures that the wearer stays glued to the saddle. At the bottom, the pant legs open with a mid-length zipper. Velcro strips guarantee a perfectly adaptable fit, over or inside the motorcycle boot. The higher back of the pants ensures that your back remains covered, even when sitting in a sporty position. The accordion-stretch panel on the lower back considerably increases the seating and wearing comfort of these pants.
To close the Tornado 3, REV'IT uses the unique YKK slide closure, which cannot open spontaneously. Adjustment options at the waist are available in the form of elastic bands and length-adjustable straps. Two zippered side pockets allow you to store the essentials. Strapper suspenders are an option.
Two side pockets provide the necessary storage space and the short connection zipper allows you to create - together with the Tornado 3 motorcycle jacket - the perfect combo.
