The Natcho is clearly in its element between buildings, asphalt and concrete. The khaki colour might suggest otherwise, but this is first and foremost a motorcycle jacket with urban ambitions. Or is it the other way around?
Those ambitions are certainly visible: the outer shell in Softshell and Twiltex is a bit cuddly, and not exactly what you expect from a thoroughbred motorbike jacket. But this is definitely one of them, and a good one at that. A waterproof membrane keeps you dry, and with a removable lining of 90 grams, you can definitely take on the winter. You can't be further away from a weathered, hard, leather motorcycle suit, so use the Natcho in that way: as a city jacket that safely lets you get on the big scooter or small bike.
In that case, you can count on a number of assets. Soft, comfortable, a short cut and a good fit. Waterproof, with a removable hood and many details ... the list is long and again: not necessarily related to the motorcycle. The fact that the ALPHA shoulder and elbow protectors are so flexible that you almost have to make an effort to feel them underlines the order: first a fashionable city jacket. Then a safe motorcycle jacket. Two in one, but it is important to know where the focus lies. The CE-approved protectors on the elbow are adjustable in height, and those who still want to add extra protection can fit a CE-certified back protector.
The breathability of the Natcho is in three letters 'top' and that's where the striking lining (mesh) comes in. It means that two vents on the shoulder are enough to keep everything manageable. The sleeve ends - with zipper and press studs - are perhaps most reminiscent of a motorcycle jacket, because with two outer pockets, two inner pockets, a storage pocket on the upper arm, a Napoleon pocket, the removable hood and the striking horizontal stitching, this is still primarily a 'jacket'. Without necessarily having to say 'motorcycle'. Even though it is allowed. Even though it can be.
The Natcho - in khaki - seems an odd colour to ride camouflaged through town, but that's not the point: this is camouflage on a higher level. The full-on motorcycle jacket that successfully hides in the style of the city jacket. That's the trick.
There's maintenance clothing and then there's clothing maintenance. Good, solid motorcycle clothing is an investment in comfort and personal safety. So invest in its maintenance after you buy it and enjoy your gear for longer.
