Is it a sweater? Is it a motorcycle jacket? No, it's the District you see in the motorcycle sky. Macna's District is a bit of a superhero disguised as a very ordinary hoodie, so this reference seemed appropriate.
Now, there are limits to the superhero status and how far you can take it, but this is still a very nice hoodie to ride quite the motorcycle kilometers. You can do that with any sweater of course, but the District got - through the cotton and polyester exterior - Aramid reinforcements in the important places that make it all just that little bit safer. Aramid has earned more than the necessary stripes and guarantees that the wearer of the District can count on a dose of wear and tear resistance. Within limits: the District is an urban hoodie, not a race suit.
With RISC CE-certified protectors (level 1) on the elbows and shoulders, the District is in no way inferior to any other motorcycle jacket. A CE back protector is optional, but everything is in place to fit it in easily.
The laminated reflective elements are rather subtle, but definitely present. The hoodie itself can - depending on the situation - be fastened at the back or simply removed. With a high collar, nicely worked out sleeve ends and a central zipper over the entire length of the District, this is also just a really nice sweater.
Or is it a motorcycle jacket? No, it's just the District. And you combine it almost naturally via the Belt Loop with a pair of motorcycle jeans.
The District exists in a men's and - adapted - women's version.
