The Talura 3.0 motorcycle gloves from IXS feature a sleek design and pretty sharp lines. Racing is not far away and the short, goatskin leather construction only reinforces that feeling.
This 3.0 is the - how could it be otherwise? - third version of the Talura motorcycle gloves.
Goatskin leather on the outside, and you know that this is a motorcycle glove which will wrap itself around your hand, and which should give you the feeling that it is almost not there. Only the feeling of course, because from a pair of sporty motorcycle gloves like the Talura 3.0 we expect a solid dose of protection.
IXS does not disappoint. The palm received an integral double layer of leather and padding on the palm, but it is mainly the TPU knuckle protection that attracts the most attention. The doubled hard knuckle protector has a iXS Air-Intake-system and thus allows for driving wind. The ventilated leather extension towards the wrist emphasizes the cooling qualities of the Talura 3.0. The way in which the knuckle protector is mounted on the back of the hand, with a sturdy stripe of stretch material underneath, is surprisingly good.
The previous paragraph illustrates it: the Talura 3.0 puts a focus on ventilation. Not on waterproofing or pronounced warming properties. For the sake of completeness, we also mention the TPR inserts on the four fingers and the precise CE certification standard: EN13594:2015.
If you want to handle a smartphone from your race bike, you can. The index finger is touchscreen compatible.
