These competitively priced motorcycle gloves strive for an excellent balance between comfort and safety. They are pretty impressive pre-eminently in the mid-season. And waterproof!
The outer shell is one of goatskin leather and abrasion-resistant textile. Both materials have their advantages, it is important to use them in the best possible way. IXS succeeds with the Balin ST 2.0 with leather on the palm, complemented by a double layer of Amara. There is also a layer of padding on the palm, while the knuckle protector protects a large part of the back of the hand. The TPR (thermoplastic rubber) used for this purpose is flexible, does not interfere and remains comfortable.
Underneath that protective outer layer IXS integrates a solto-TEX® membrane and a Tri-fleece lining. This sequence ensures that the Balin ST 2.0 can take a beating in any climate.
The Balin ST 2.0 is a mid-length, CE-certified motorcycle glove with a cuff (velcro) that certainly reaches the sleeve of the motorcycle jacket. If this is not the case, then you urgently need clothing advice and perhaps a new motorcycle jacket. The closure is an innovative '30°-buckle’ with elastic insert and velcro.
The index finger is compatible with the screen of your smartphone and GPS. Reflective material is mainly present on these fingers as well.
