These Tactel® motorcycle pants can actually be used from 1 January to 31 December. Simple. A non-removable solto-TEX® membrane makes the Puerto ST waterproof without sacrificing breathability. On the contrary, the Puerto ST definitely offers summer options, and two vents on the upper legs further highlight those ambitions. A removable thermal lining guarantees that you can ride in cooler conditions as well.
Accordion panels above the knee and stretch fabric at the crotch are an added value for the comfort and flexibility of this all-rounder. Anti-slip material on the seat assures you of a good sitting position. The back is made slightly higher than the front, so that even in a typical motorcycle sitting position you always have sufficient protection.
The waist is adjustable with a large strip of velcro on the left and right, although the elastic pieces should keep the need for major adjustments within limits.
Impact protection is provided by (level 2, EN1621-1:2012) 'impacTec TP-02' knee protectors that are adjustable in height. For women, the ‘impacTec TP-01’ knee protectors are thinner and more flexible. The ‘impacTec ETP-03’ hip protectors (EN1621-1:2012, level 1) are standard in motorcycle pants of this level.
