The Delta 3 Lady is also in the ladies’ version just the lower half of a race suit. These new, sporty leather motorcycle pants are vintage-DAINESE and can throw some serious weight around.
You can take the latter literally: a pair of motorbike pants of this caliber requires a sturdy coat stand. But, as is often the case in and around the motorcycle: once you're out and about, you don't notice it at all anymore. The Delta 3 Lady is performance material and you know where the DAINESE gets their expertise: from the race track. Leather is still the main material there and the Delta 3 Lady is more specifically made of Tutu cowhide. Important to know is that it is treated leather, water- and oil-repellent, with an equal emphasis on protection and comfort. Developed with the biker in mind.
Bi-elastic S1 material on the inside of the legs and in the groin provides enhanced flexibility. Accordion panels above the knee add to this of course. The inside is made of Nanofeel®, which was specifically treated with an eye on smart climate management. Ventilation zippers are missing, but that way it stays comfortable for a long time in these pants.
The Delta 3 Lady has a sharp cut, as it should be for the lower half of a race suit. Everything you’ve read so far contributes to a good fit but it goes without saying that DAINESE created these pants specifically for the female anatomy.
The pants are fully CE approved (Cat. II - EN/89/686/EEC) and the standard knee and hip protectors are also certified (EN 1621.1). Eye-catching are of course the replaceable, removable external DAINESE knee sliders.
The back is finished higher than the front, which is closed with a zipper and press button. The waist circumference is adjustable by a few centimeters by means of two velcro straps. Leather 'sets', so you can start pretty tight.
The pants have a double zipper system at the bottom halfway up each calf, which makes it much easier to get into them and also allows for some variation. At the front - shin side - velcro tabs make up the 'suit to boot' fastening system. This illustrates once again the racing ambitions of the Delta 3 Lady, although reflective details ensure that the Delta 3 Lady can actually be used on any terrain.
This is the kind of motorcycle pants you would expect from a manufacturer like DAINESE. Not dotting the i’s is something they don't allow very often, which inevitably leads to top results like this.
