A light, price-conscious summer jacket. Sporty in style and versatile in character. Seemingly simple, but technically up to date. Look no further: the Alpinestars T-SPS Air.
The chassis - the outside - consists of 600 Denier polyester with a double layer of polyurethane. The observant motorcyclist (and they all are) will notice: 600 D. This often appears in the first paragraphs of motorcycle jackets, and there's a very good reason for that. It is wear- and tear-resistant. A very good basis, and that's why Alpinestars also provides a layer of 600 Denier internally at the elbows and shoulders. Wear-resistant properties are rarely abundant, and in this case, it results in a very nice jacket. A light motorcycle jacket as well.
Mesh has a lot to do with that. Large panels on the chest, back and arms guarantee a constant airflow.
In motorcycle jacket terms, the above package will get you quite far. Its price is therefore definitely an asset. Alpinestars remains a well-known name and both visually and content-wise the T-SPS Air is more than up to standard.
There are not many individual customization options. Sporty is the way to go and except for the waist, upper arms and sleeve ends, you don't have to play around with it that much. Which makes 'except' a very relative concept. Tight in the sporty suit, that's what it should be. Two side pockets with zipper and a couple of inner pockets provide the necessary storage space.
Alpinestars' own Nucleon Flex Plus protectors on shoulders and elbows provide a good dose of impact protection. Never excessive, but performing. Light too. An optional Nucleon Level 1 and/or Nucleon Level 2 Back Protector can be integrated easily and quickly, just like you have the possibility to add a chest protector. Reflective material on the upper arms - in the form of discrete stripes - is also available.
Price-quality-wise, this is without a doubt a top seller.
