This Steel-O-Chain from ABUS is a traditional chain lock with 7 mm thick, square links. Everything is neatly contained in a nylon sleeve to prevent damage to bodywork or paint. With a length of 85 cm, you can safely attach one motorcycle or scooter to an external fixed object, such as a lamppost or gate.
The automatic locking cylinder is protected against drilling. With Security Level 8, this lock offers good protection for 'average' theft risks. However, like almost all locks, the deterrent effect is just as important as the effective protection. Opportunity makes the thief, so try to provide as little opportunity as possible.
Chain, lock body and the internal elements of the lock mechanism are made of special hardened steel. For optimal theft protection, make sure that the chain lock is not placed on or near the ground. This protects the chain and the locking mechanism against aggressive manipulation.
The ABUS Steel-O-Chain 8807K chain lock is delivered with two keys as standard. The chain can be folded into a relatively small package and is therefore easy to take with you.
