"Caliber". Rarely has a name been better chosen. With the Caliber, REV'IT delivers a serious motorcycle glove. Totally off-road worthy, but in fact just as good for all-round use.
To be clear, these are not long motorcycle gloves that are best used off road. Do not expect that from the Caliber. The outside is made of PWR|STRETCH mesh (around the thumb), completed with goatskin leather (the main part, palm and fingers) and a short cuff in neoprene. Cordura and touchscreen-compatible material complete it.
That same assembly is pretty 'chunky'. These are not super-lightweight motocross gloves. That's a statement, not a judgment. Those who prefer those lighter, motocross gloves will find the perfect smaller brother to this Caliber in the REV'IT! Massif motocross gloves.
It all looks simple, but we like to tell you that the flexible knuckle protector is a ventilated one, made of injected Temperfoam®. This will give you a better idea of the technology behind it all. On the palm we find a PWR-shield, also made of Temperfoam®, and TPR on the fingers for extra impact protection. All that flexibility, all that comfort, all that dexterity too, they disguise a little bit of the Caliber's safety levels. This is a very good, very safe and very pleasant motorcycle glove.
The short neoprene cuff keeps dust and - if necessary - water out. You close it by means of a strip of velcro.
These Caliber gloves are part of the DIRT SERIES, and go perfectly with the REV'IT! Blackwater and/or the REV'IT! Component 2.
