The Flare 2 Lady - with its typical camouflage pattern - is a 'like it or hate it' motorcycle jacket. At least in terms of style. The objective quality of this sporty, but obviously urban jacket is not up for discussion.
The Flare 2 Lady is the women's version of the men's jacket of the same name. A woman's silhouette is usually slightly different, and that has been taken into account in the cut of this Flare 2 Lady.
It remains of course that both men's and women's motorcycle jackets have a distinctly urban look, despite their camouflage pattern. Especially the removable hood makes the Flare 2 Lady a garment with which you can easily walk around without a motorcycle. Casual urban' is the style that best sums it up.
The outer fabric consists of polyester 600D and polyester rib, resulting in a very durable jacket. REV'IT also re-equipped the Flare 2 with a non-removable, waterproof and breathable Hydratex® G-liner membrane. A removable thermal liner is available for use on colder days, while VCS zippers on the arms and back openings provide ventilation on warmer days. A full-length, double zipper with watercatchers enhances the jacket's waterproof properties.
The Flare 2 Lady has roots in racing, which usually means: short and tight. Officially it's called a 'race fit', but the urban makeover makes sure you don't have to be a trained and lightweight race pilot. Adjustment possibilities come in the form of velcro strips at the waist and sleeve ends. There's an extra press button on the upper arms. Two front pockets with zippers and an inner pocket in both jacket and lining provide ample storage space.
Knox® Lite CE protectors on the shoulders and elbows offer a very solid but also light and flexible impact protection. The Flare 2 Lady is also prepared for an upgrade to the SEESOFT™ CE-level 2 back protector - Type RV. The typical laminated reflection of the logo on the back ensures that you remain visible in the evening and at night.
You will probably combine the Flare 2 Lady with a good pair of motorcycle jeans. For that reason, a short connecting zipper is provided. You attach the Safeway belt and off you go.
