This Juggernaut has little to do with the comic book hero of the same name, unless Alpinestars wants to make a reference to the unlimited power and endless stamina of the Marvel comics character.
The Juggernaut is an atypical pair of motorcycle pants: it's made of 3L-softshell and features a waterproof membrane. This means that the Juggernaut is vaguely reminiscent of jogging pants, but can withstand a shower. The drawcord, ribbed waist and tapered ankles help the first part of the previous sentence, the waterproof membrane stands for the second part. Both are important, as are the vents that can provide you with the necessary cooling when temperatures are too high.
This is a pair of motorbike pants that fits like a glove. And you'll enjoy watching Sunday's MotoGP with it, just as much as you'll enjoy getting on your bike with it. You’ll notice immediately that much of the Juggernaut is elastic, and yet Alpinestars still gives you adjustment options. The most striking is the 'volume control' on the calves. Also the YKK® zipper and a (hidden) button for secure closure are surprises when you initially focus on the drawstring.
That you're more likely to nonchalantly stroll around in them, that is the intention. We would almost say ‘flaunt around in them’. This is supposed to look relaxed and still have maximum functionality. The back is designed higher for better protection in the sitting position.
