With this laminated motorcycle jacket, Modeka joins the higher - and above all very reliable - market segment of lightweight, comfortable touring jackets. The Viper LT is a versatile travel companion for frequent riders.
The Viper LT, which is laminated with Tactel® and a Humax® membrane, is without doubt one of the best waterproof jackets on the market. With a laminated jacket, water doesn't seep in, the jacket doesn't become heavy, and everything dries a lot faster after a shower. And in contrast to many other laminated jackets, which have a hard time hiding that extra layer, the Viper LT is a very flexible and comfortable jacket.
A laminated jacket is more suited for the harsher conditions. The standard is waterproofing, so the other extreme - scorching hot and sunny - is a little more difficult. The Viper LT has a good option with AirVent vents (with zipper), but to ride all the way to the south of Spain with it in July or August, that's a different story. No, the North Cape seems better suited, because the thermal lining - removable and wearable on its own as a jacket - is of high quality.
The result is good. Very good. With a series of adjustment possibilities (centering of the flank and straps on the forearms) you can play around with it a bit, although the play is automatically tighter thanks to the laminated construction. So it can be right from the start. Tight feel. The touring cut - three quarter motorcycle jacket - is not very long, but as a whole it fits. With this cut comes ample storage space: two large front pockets, a pocket on the back and plenty on the inside.
SAS-TEC® provides the necessary impact protection. Shoulders, elbows and back are all equipped with standard CE-approved protectors. Chest protectors are optional. Reflective material is obviously present. Not so conspicuous during the day, all the safer in the evening and at night.
The Viper LT jacket is part of a combination, and of course the same pants fit seamlessly.
