And in between you can ride your bike without any problems. That is the starting point for the Classic. A name cannot be clearer, and with an outer shell in oiled cowhide leather, IXS leaves little to chance. Apart from that, the Classic has a lot of contemporary features and assets.
The textile lining, the comfortable footbed, the reinforced heel and the plastic ankle cups, the shifting reinforcement in the form of a double layer of leather ... these are all elements that you will find in the Classic. These are all elements that you will find in modern, comfortable and good motorcycle shoes. Goodyear-stitched means that the connection between the wear-resistant rubber sole and the upper half of this motorcycle shoe was made with an eye for quality. And those techniques are used that since the 19th century have extensively proven their value, with enough seams and stitching to slide towards 'perfect'.
Getting in and out of that perfection is also possible. The laces are an option, although for that, you can use the full-length zipper on the inside of each Classic, which is easier and even quicker. To prevent damage to the bike, it goes without saying that you can cover the trigger with the velcro strip which has been especially designed for this purpose.
The Classic has a shaft of 18 centimetres making it - in addition to an excellent and legal motorcycle shoe - a nice boot.
